Our mechanical investigators are completely independent and highly dedicated to providing the most complete and comprehensive vehicle examinations, holding all current motor vehicle trade qualifications and licensing.

 

Our mechanical investigators are members of the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Association (MVRIA), the Australasian and South Pacific Association of Collision Investigators (ASPACI), the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), the NSW Association of Fire Investigators (NSWAFI), and International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI).  

 

We have provided expert mechanical examinations for a variety of clients including most leading insurers, law firms, NSW Police Force, private clients and other investigation firms since 2009. 

 

AMVI has been involved in the automotive Industry for over 39 years holding the Licensed RTA examiner/proprietor accreditation for over 30 years.

SERVICES OFFERED:

  • Crash data retrieval and interpretation.

 

  • Diagnostic scanning to ascertain possible pre-existing and current vehicle faults and immobiliser status.

 

  • Oil and water extraction and sampling to identify/verify pre-existing and current mechanical faults or town water within motor vehicles.

 

  • Full mechanical safety inspection to verify roadworthiness of a motor vehicle prior to theft or motor vehicle accident.

 

  • As authorised RTA motor vehicle examiners, this allows us to legally inspect the road worthiness of a motor vehicle in accordance with National Road Safety laws, which may assist in determining the road worthy status of a motor vehicle to ascertain if a mechanical or electrical fault was the cause or a contributing factor of a serious or fatal motor vehicle collision.

 

  • We have provided expert witness testimony in the local and district court for a number of motor vehicle matters.

 

An investigation may also include us examining driver qualifications, auditing logbooks, or reviewing other transport or Industry compliance related materials as necessary, which we are also able to undertake for our clients if necessary.
